Purple Fest – January 2024

From January 9th to 13th, AERO participated in Purple Fest, an inclusive event held in Goa. As part of this festival, AERO organized an immersive birdwatching experience for participants with disabilities at Carambolim Wetland.

The initiative aimed to provide an inclusive and enriching opportunity for individuals with disabilities to connect with nature and explore the diverse birdlife of the wetland habitat. Led by experienced guides, participants embarked on birdwatching excursions, where they observed and identified various bird species native to the area.

Through this initiative, AERO sought to promote accessibility to outdoor recreational activities and foster a sense of belonging and appreciation for nature among individuals with disabilities. The event exemplified the organization's commitment to inclusive environmental education and community engagement.
